The day began at 2pm. I went to Simon’s house to snap a few photos of them. My 2nd photographer, Matthew, showed up shortly after. I knew I was at the guys’ house. There is always the signature half eaten pizza box. After a few nice photos, I left to go hang out with the gals. The gals were getting ready at the Good Shepard Lutheran Church. I have to say this is probably one of the most photogenic church I’ve shot in. This place is beautiful. I first saw Allie in the room designated for the bride. She was excited and nervous. We were all short on time so I quickly shot all the detail shots I can get. I wanted to focus on the bride and everyone else getting ready. While taking photos, I heard it happen. I heard an “Oh no.” I looked over and saw one of the bouquet for the bridesmaid was missing. Allie wasn’t happy but the bridesmaids quickly jumped into action and start separating their bouquets to fashion an additional one. That was pretty awesome on their part. Then I hear “pinky in belly!” and off they go to walk down the aisle.
We all drove to the Oakmont Country Club where the reception was going to be. This place is beautiful. There is so much photo opportunities here that I was torn because I wish I had more time. Plus the wedding cheeseburger that they gave me was fantastic.
Allie and Simon are such cool people and I wish them a lifetime of happiness. From everyone here at Man Nguyen Photography, congratulations!
