He loves her wit, charm, beauty and compassion. She loves his genuine, driven, and down-to-earth personality. They have been around the world together with still more places to go. One of them being Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania! It was a no brainer for Jim when he proposed to Kim on top of a cliff at Giant’s Causeway in Northern Ireland.
Jim is from Pittsburgh while Kim is the new transplant. Like many, including myself, Pittsburgh’s charm won Kim over. This is why they wanted to showcase the city to their out-of-state family and friends and chose Heinz Chapel and PNC Park to be the center of their wedding.
Kim is the first few people I knew when I first moved to Pittsburgh. The one thing about her that stood out to me was that she was kind and genuine. There are many people in our lives that come and go. You say hi, they say hello, and you likely won’t see that person again. This wasn’t the case with Kim. She was constantly referring me for photography and came to me to ask for advice when she first started planning. When I first met Jim, I knew why she loved him. Everything she loved about him, his kind, genuine, driven, down-to-earth personality–it all showed. A perfect match for Kim. I couldn’t be more happy that they found each other.
It was an extreme pleasure to photograph your beautiful wedding and I wish you both nothing but the best as you continue your life together!
Thanks to Krystal Tirado for 2nd shooting.
